Kids don't need to win at the starting line. They need someone who believes in them the whole way.

You hear it constantly: children have to “win at the starting line”.

We see it differently. Growing up was never a race judged on its first few steps. Every child has their own pace, their own imagination, their own range of possibility — and none of it is settled the moment they set off.

What actually carries a child further isn't being pushed. It's a parent who keeps showing up along the way.

When a child hands you a drawing, they aren't handing you a piece of paper. They're handing you their thinking, their feelings, and the world as they see it.

What they may really be asking is:

「Did you see what I was imagining?」
「Do you believe in me?」

SOFI starts from that belief.

We want every piece a child makes to be properly seen — and a parent's support to go further than “that's lovely”, into something the child can actually feel.

When children find that their ideas matter, they speak up more readily, explore more bravely, and walk their own path with more confidence.

Creativity deserves to be seen
A child's work doesn't need to be perfect. The impossible colours and the wobbly lines are their most honest way of speaking.
Support should be felt
One genuine response from a parent can be where a child's confidence begins. The encouragement you give today can become what they draw on years from now.
Growing up deserves to be kept
Childhood moves fast, but every drawing holds a piece of it. We want to help families keep hold of those moments.
